It's a new month! I won't be the one to remind folks that the middle of 2008 has just arrived! OOOPPS!
I'm at the Incident Command Post for the Indians and East Basin Complex fire. I'm here to baby-sit the OES's giant satellite telephone. I thought I would have fun, well, I am kinda... but's its soooo boring! Hot! and Dusty! Oh well, I hope to learn a few things that will help me with my future. There's so much going on here it's hard to describe it to you. I pictured tents for the leaders, but I get here and their are trailers... with A/C! I have got to push the OES to get a couple of trailers for us too!
Well... more later... I think I'll read the new Ensign I brought with me....

I guess you will have a pretty busy summer with all the fires. Doesn't look like it will be slowing down anytime soon!
