It's been about a year now since we got our pets... fish! No, no huge puppy as big as Harlene or small and feisty has Karyn's cat... plain old ordinary fish. Actually, we have gone through about as many as we have now over the year. We have a 10 gallon tank and today we replaced 1 dead and 1 dieing with 4 new ones. Go figure! It gives the kids something to look at and they are quite calming when you just want to look at something that isn't demanding anything from you. They do have their own personalities though... they know that when the light is turned on in the morning, it's time to eat! Kinda like a bunch a kids... open a bag of chips or start cooking hamburgers and they come running! Kraig even has started to come over and see what I have when I open a soda can! We certainly know how to train our kids.
